This lattice structure is arranged to form a honeycomb framework of consistent diameter interconnecting channels and pores. Negatively charged alumina and neutrally charged silica tetrahedral building blocks are stacked to produce the open three-dimensional honeycomb framework. Zeolites actually attract odors & gases and trap them in its crystalline structure. Zeolites also attract positively charged ions, because the zeolite maintains a negative 2 charge. OK so to put that into 'regular people' words.... zeolite minerals form to resemble tiny little honeycombs. They have a negative charge of (minus) 2 and therefore attract particles with a positive charge, kind of like a magnet. There are many different KINDS of zeolite. This is important to remember as you read about zeolite on the internet, or in literature. Some people have reported that zeolite causes cancer. Mesothelioma (a rare type of lung cancer) incidence is high in certain villages on the Anatolian plateau in Turkey, where environmental exposure includes erionite, a form of zeolite fibers, from the local volcano. A prospective study of residents of two exposed and one nearby control village was initiated in 1979 and continued through December 31, 2003. A total of 891 men and women, aged 20 years or older, were included, 230 of them residing in the village without known exposure to erionite. During the 23-year follow-up, 372 deaths occurred; 119 of these were from mesothelioma, which was the cause of 44% of all deaths in the exposed villages. Seventeen patients had peritoneal mesothelioma; the rest had pleural mesothelioma. Only two cases of mesothelioma, one of each type, occurred in the control village-both in women born elsewhere. Our results emphasize the severity of the mesothelioma endemic in erionite -exposed areas of Turkey and call for intensified prevention of mesothelioma by limiting environmental exposures to these zeolite fibers. The zeolite used in The Original Liquid Zeolite does not cause cancer. There are many many different types of zeolite. Zeolite has over 50 different natural species, and over 100 synthetic kinds. The type of zeolite thought to cause cancer, called erionite, in this village in Turkey is not the same as clinoptilolite which is used in The Original Liquid Zeolite. Also, these people are exposed to the zeolite daily, in their environment, and breathe it into their lungs in every breath of air they take in. If you inhaled orange juice into your lungs every day, do you think you would get sick?? Of course you would, but when you drink it, it is actually very good for you. The Original Liquid Zeolite has been on the market now for over 6 years, and millions of bottles have been sold. Liquid Zeolite The zeolite is not actually turned into a liquid to make liquid zeolite. There isn't any way to “liquefy” this solid zeolite crystal. There is a report out there written by the “powdered zeolite” people that claims “when you liquefy a zeolite you get a pool of elements! You could really just stop reading right there because you can't liquify a zeolite. The people who claim to be zeolite experts really believe that “liquid zeolite is actually zeolite liquefied?” You would think that the experts would know, the name “liquid zeolite” only developed as a way to differentiate it from powdered zeolite. The particles are micronized (made very small) and suspended (caused to float) in a liquid, thus the name “Liquid and Zeolite” might be more appropriate. I repeat... you can not 'liquefy' zeolite. Liquid zeolite is made up of tiny particles of CLEANED zeolite suspended in pure water. Liquid zeolite, How Is It Processed? The type of zeolite used in the Original Liquid Zeolite is called clinoptilolite. Clinoptilolite is just one of the over 50 kinds of naturally occurring zeolite. It is in the ground, and is mined. Because it is in the ground it already has toxins in it. Clinoptilolite could have mercury, lead, arsenic and other heavy metals in it as well as aluminum, herbicides, pesticides and anything else that is in the air, rain water or in the ground. This MUST be cleaned out before you take it into your body. I'll share more about the cleaning process later, but for now remember, when zeolite comes out of the ground it is contaminated, because of it's negative charge, and any contaminants in the ground that wash over it are likely in the zeolite cage. Under goes an 'activation process' that forces the removal of all these toxins. Our proprietary activation process removes all extraneous metals and empties out the zeolite cage - therefore removing any toxins that were found with the zeolite and 'activating' the molecule to be at its most effective. The zeolite molecule is, for all practical purposes, indestructible. Heat, up to 900 degrees fahrenheit will not crack the molecule and it can be frozen in solution and defrosted without any change in activity. It is also amphoteric - meaning that it exists just as well in an acidic or a basic environment (your stomach acid will not hurt it). We activate the zeolite in a very weak, natural acid under high temperature conditions. This does not break the zeolite down; it simply forces the evacuation of stored toxins in the zeolite cage. The only thing left in solution after activation is the micronized zeolite and some larger metals that remain in solution. These are: calcium, sodium, magnesium and potassium. These healthy metals migrate back into the zeolite and help stabilize the molecule. After ingestion, they easily undergo cationic exchange with metals that are higher in the affinity scale of the zeolite (i.e. Mercury, Lead, Cadmium, etc.) Without this process, other zeolite products must contain toxins and heavy metals as part of the zeolite cage. Additionally, without a heat process or some preservative, they contain bacterial and fungal contamination. What Does Zeolite Do? Well it absorbs those toxins. It attracts the opposite charged molecules (like a weak magnet) and then pulls the toxins deep in to it's honeycomb-like cage. It does not remove things like potassium and magnesium and calcium, like oral chelation prescribed medications do. This is because those molecules are simply too big to get into the zeolite cage, so even if it attracted those molecules it would not be able to absorb them, thus it maintains it's negative charge and continues to attract those bad molecules that are small enough to fit in to the cages. So you ingest the zeolite particles, they enter your blood stream, and are excreted mostly in the urine, and on the way they grab the poisons in your body that shouldn't be there. The actual Clinoptilolite Zeolite molecule is shaped like a honey-comb and carries a natural negative (-) charge. When this type of Zeolite is ingested into the body all of the positively charged (+) heavy metals, toxins, and harmful chemicals bond with the zeolite and are flushed out through the urine within 6-8 hours. Are you still with me??? Every day there is another news story about toxins in our environment and our exposure to them. Toys are recalled because of lead, baby bottles are recalled because they leach toxins into the milk, people who live healthy lives have been tested with an incredible number of toxins in their bloodstream. One study showed that many people still have levels of DDT in their blood, a substance that was banned many years ago. Another study of new born babies showed nearly 300 different chemicals in the umbilical cord blood! The umbilical cord is a baby’s lifeline, bringing nourishment from the mother and removing waste. The amniotic fluid bathes the growing embryo, and the umbilical cord brings the embryo oxygen, nutrients—and a startling array of toxic industrial chemicals, according to a recent study, “Body Burden: The Pollution in Newborns.” In a first-of-its-kind study, researchers from two major laboratories looked for the presence of toxic chemicals in umbilical cord blood of 10 newborn babies born in U.S. hospitals in August and September 2004. collaboration of the Environmental Working Group and Commonweal brought about the study. ( http://archive.ewg.org/reports/bodyburden2/) Of the more than 400 chemicals tested for, 287 were detected in umbilical cord blood. Of these, 180 cause cancer in humans or animals, 217 are toxic to the brain or nervous system, and 208 cause birth defects or abnormal development in animals. Scientists refer to the presence of such toxins in the newborn as “body burden.” According to the studies authors, the scope of testing was limited because chemical companies are not required to divulge methods for detecting the presence of their chemicals in the human body. “Had we tested for a broader array of chemicals,” they wrote, “we would almost certainly have detected far more than 287.” Who needs to take liquid zeolite? Everyone is exposed to heavy metal toxins on a daily basis in the air they breathe, the food they eat and the water they drink. In order to remove these toxins and maintain a clean and healthy body, everyone should take Original Liquid Zeolite on a daily basis. It is recommended for persons 18 years of age or older. People under the age of 18, pregnant women and children should consult their physicians prior to use. What Does Liquid Zeolite Cure? Liquid zeolite does not cure anything, nor is intended to treat anything. It simply removes toxins and metals. I think it is amazing what happens when you remove metals and chemicals from the body and allow the immune system to take over and do what it was meant to do. Liquid Zeolite and Cancer If you search for Zeolite and cancer on the internet, you are going to find a number of different websites with a number of different claims. Zeolite cures cancer, many of them say. First of all, zeolite doesn't cure anything. Zeolite only removes heavy metals and toxins. Liquid Zeolite is not intended to treat cancer. It does remove heavy metals and toxins from the body. Some websites (including Dr. Gabriel Cousens) claims that the zeolite appears to activate a gene which kills cancer cells. That has not ever been positively confirmed, and so can not make any claim. I take what I read with a “grain of salt” and I recommend you do as well. Liquid Zeolite and Other Uses As already mentioned, I believe that anybody and everybody should be taking liquid zeolite to remove the toxins we carry in our bodies, but of course there are always going to be people who NOTICE the most benefit. People call me all the time and the call goes something like this... “I have **insert illness name**. Do you think liquid zeolite will help me?My answer is always the same. It doesn't matter what you are dealing with from a health perspective. Liquid zeolite removes heavy metals and toxins. Can it help you? I don't know. If your symptom is caused by or aggravated by one of the multitude of heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, viral particles that you have been exposed to during your lifetime but stands to reason that you might feel better if you remove them. But there is no guarantee. Here is what I know. The Original Liquid Zeolite, when it is ingested, is made up of cleaned and activated zeolite cages. Zeolite absorbs heavy metals and toxins. Zeolite is excreted taking the heavy metals and toxins with them. How Much Zeolite Should You Take? It is appropriate for me to mention at this time (once again) that this book is for information purposes only, and should not be construed as medical advice. You are responsible for decisions made regarding your health, and if you are uncertain, you should always consult with a health care professional who is familiar with your case. The amounts below have been used safely by others. This recommendation is for the Original Liquid Zeolite only. If you insist on using a different brand then do so at your risk, and follow their instructions. Healthy, just want to detox: 10 drops 3x a day (detox) for 4 weeks or so is what people take, then 3 drops 3X a day for maintenance. Every 6 months or so, I do another detox because exposure, in the environment I live in is a given. People with significant compromise have taken up to 15 drops 4X a day satisfactorily, for as long as necessary and desired. Side Effects and Contra-indications: The only side effect that I am aware of when taking liquid zeolite is dehydration, which is easily remedied by drinking lots of pure water, and other fluids. Liquid zeolite does not interact with any medications except those derived from metals (that we know of). If you are taking Lithium (often prescribed for manic depressive illness) then the zeolite can potentially remove the Lithium as it is a metal. If you are taking carboplatin (a chemotherapy agent) or any other platinum based medicine then you may wish to not take the zeolite on the day before, day of, and day after your chemotherapy treatment. Zeolite only circulates in the body for a maximum of 7 or so hours, so keep that in mind when deciding when to take or not take your supplement. Other than those 2 specific situations, liquid zeolite appears safe, and has no reported side effects that we know of, and it has been on the market with millions of bottles sold, for 4 years+. Zeolite for pets. Yes even your beloved animals can have toxin related illnesses, and zeolite has been used quite safely and with wonderful results for the animals that grace our lives. Which Zeolite Brand is the Best? I know there are a lot of choices out there. There will be more too. That's because the original liquid zeolite product has shown itself to be very safe, and there are many testimonials of its efficacy circulating. This is what the bottle of the Original Liquid Zeolite looks like. If your zeolite doesn't look like this, you have the wrong kind. You must be careful. Once the toxins and poisons are removed it is called 'activated' because it is now empty and ready to suck up all the toxins and metals from your body! Why is cleaning the zeolite important? A visual... Pretend these two glasses represent a zeolite molecule. One is full of toxins. The other one is empty, activated and ready for business! The Activation Process of Natural Cellular Defense Step 1: It starts with raw clinoptilolite that comes straight from the zeolite mine site. This Zeolite is mechanically reduced to yield a very fine powder. This allows it to easily absorb into the bloodstream. The average zeolite cage size is reduced from more than 40 microns down to less than 5 microns. (80% are reduced to less than 1 micron) Step 2: The micronized powder is added to ultra-purified water in a reaction vessel, Natural acids and heat are then added to begin the purification process. The heat drives off all VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) and begins to exchange heavy metals and other pollutants. Step 3: The solution is then cooled rapidly which allows for the easy separation of toxins from the material. This forms a hard layer of toxins that is discarded. This process is repeated at least 10 times over a period of 4 days until all the pollutants have been removed from the reaction vessel. Step 4: After the toxins have been removed an air-forced and vacuum filtration system removes all soluble toxins and neutralizes the solution. The final filtration yields the activated Clinoptilolite with an average particle size of 1 micro meter. All that is left is the pure cleaned out Zeolite in an ultra-purified water. The Original Liquid Zeolite is the only zeolite clinically proven to safely and effectively remove heavy metals from the body. To view the published study on Natural Cellular Defense in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. ➔ NO Fillers- some companies add humic or fulvic acid to their zeolite product. They only do it because they haven't figured out how to 'suspend' the zeolite in solution (make it float). The humic and/or fulvic acid helps the particles float. These acids come from rotting organic material, and are ripe for growing bacteria. So beside the fact that these versions of product do NOT clean their zeolite of poisons (which causes the particles to sink, they add something that has the potential to cause infection. Several years ago, some humic acid zeolite versions had to be removed from the marketplace because of high levels of bacteria causing liver damage. I don't think humic/fulvic acid is bad for you, if it is in a sealed bottle (not a dropper bottle with access around the rubber for microbes) and if you are told how to keep it contaminant free, (refrigeration anyone?), and if you are told that it must be used up within a month. If there is a 2 year expiry date on your humic/fulvic zeolite concoction, then it is either heat pasteurized (killing any little nutritional benefit there may be anyways) or it is at risk for contamination. The Original Liquid Zeolite adds pure water, and a few beneficial ions like magnesium and potassium for exchanging with the metals in your body. ➔ Enhanced Zeolite (with DHQ)- This is the most scandalous bit of marketing EVER! He says he used to sell the original liquid but that his DHQ products “energetically” tested better. Do you know what he means by this? I had an opportunity to speak with this guy (from a cancer fighting website) and ask him. He takes a pendulum, and holds it over the product and asks the pendulum a question. If it swings one way the answer is yes, and if it swings a different way the answer is no. No kidding! All of the research I have done proves that the product I trust for myself and my family is the liquid zeolite original product. I have spoken to scientists and manufacturers, amd people who have used the products. This guy claims his product is better because he puts a piece of glass on a string and holds it up and asks a question. I don't mean to demean anyone who believes in this practice (called dowsing), but most people with critical thinking skills will realize that a human being can influence the swing of a pendulum. (ask a Ouija board) Liquid vs. Powder There is a lot of information from powder zeolite distributors that is confusing to the average consumer. Some of you may have seen a report which is a “response” to the liquid zeolite companies. This report suggests that zeolite can't be 'liquefied' and still maintain its properties. He should stop at “can't be liquified”. To suggest that it IS liquified into a pool of ingredients shows complete lack of knowledge about a zeolite particle, or 'liquid zeolite'. Let me reiterate what I said above. Zeolite can NOT be liquified. Liquid zeolite is powdered zeolite which is micronized (made very very small) and cleaned of toxins (so that it is empty, activated and ready to suck toxins out of your system). All studies done on zeolite were done on powder. This is absolutely true. Unactivated, unclean powder was used. When you empty the zeolite and crush it small enough to enter the blood stream, like is done with the Original Liquid Zeolite, just imagine how much more powerful this zeolite is. There is FAR less zeolite in liquid zeolite compared to a powdered zeolite dose. True again... but consider why. Remember the picture of the glasses I showed you above? A teaspoon of zeolite that is full (and not cleaned) will not be as effective as ONE zeolite cage that is activated and found in liquid zeolite. A full wheelbarrow can't hold more dirt. A full bowl can't hold more soup. A full zeolite cage can't grab more toxins. One cleaned and activated zeolite particle found in the Original Liquid Zeolite has the surface area (attraction ability) of the four walls of an average room! There is no such thing as “pristine source of zeolite”, or zeolite mines “specific for human consumption”. The Original Liquid Zeolite is more expensive than other liquids and powders. The process to clean and activate the zeolite has a cost. The equipment to micronize the zeolite has a cost. The lab, the staff, the studies.. they all have a cost. I understand that some people can not afford the price of the Original Liquid Zeolite. For those people, the products that aren't cleaned and processed properly are available at a cheaper price. Other Internet Goofiness ● One company says that their liquid zeolite product could give you a fever, and the fever could come and go. They go on to say that the fever helps kill cancer cells. I want you to apply logic to this scenario. What exactly does a fever mean? You get a fever when you have a flu or cold. You get a fever when you have an inflammation, or an infection. If your zeolite product is causing you to have a fever then it is because there is something in it that is causing inflammation or an infection, OR your body is treating it like such. Fever does not kill cancer cells. If it did, then anyone who got pneumonia would have their cancer cured! ● The zeolite activates the p21 gene and kills your cancer cells – well we don't know this for sure. There was one study done in animals, that indicated a suppression of tumor growth, and tumor death, and the researchers hypothesized that the zeolite may, in some way, activated the p21 gene, but it is by no means certain. Zeolite does NOT cure cancer! ● Enhanced zeolite is better. Be very careful with this one. Enhanced zeolite is a humic acid version. It is 'untested' as far as I know, and the people promoting it use the “pendulum on a string” method of testing, have no credentials on their site, no product safety tests available, no contact information.... we don't even know who wrote the report that says that enhanced zeolite will cause cancer cells to “burst”. I know many people want to believe that, but there is no reason to believe any of that. ● Zeolite works better on cancer cells when it is full? Zeolite does not “work” on cancer cells at all. Zeolite removes heavy metals and toxins. Yes people who have cancer do get better, but it sure isn't because zeolites full of mercury cause cancer cells to disintegrate. Conclusion I think liquid zeolite is a fantastic product. I think that people of all ages should be taking it, whether they are currently exhibiting symptoms of toxin overload or not. In fact, I believe that everyone WILL have some form of detox product in their home in the very near future. People taking zeolite have shared encouraging testimonials from personal experience (anecdotal reports) of good results.
